American Airlines – online check-in
If you are traveling with American Airlines, you have the possibility of checking in online before your trip by visiting the airline’s official website. The check-in opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, and closes either 45 or 90 minutes before depending on if it is a domestic or international flight.
When checking in through the web you can change your seat and will receive either a mobile boarding pass or a boarding pass that is printable. If you prefer, American Airlines also offers mobile check-in.
